Janna Ireland: True Story Index was a mid-career survey exhibition co-hosted by the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara. True Story Index was open from February 11-June 2, 2024. It included nearly 100 works completed between 2011 and 2023, and was spread across three spaces: two galleries at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the entirely of the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara. The show was curated by Charles Wylie (SBMA) and Frederick Janka (MCASB).
